Chaos around PNG’s capital

Reports have reached this paper that Tokarara, Erima and Sabama are seeing opportunists take advantage of the tense situation commencing looting and fighting.
In Tokarara it is believed that the Desh Besh warehouse has been looted with several vehicles damaged with Police responding.
Near the new Butuka Academy at Sabama there has been reports of a fight, reasons unknown as yet.
Over at Erima at the Lot 60 stores there were several opportunists trying to enter when the lot closed its gates.
Police sources have confirmed National Capital District Police are trying to contain the situation.
The Papua New Guinea Defence Force have also confirmed they are keeping watch on the situation.
