UPNG compulsory fees stay unchanged
THE University of Papua New Guinea’s compulsory fees will remain the same as 2018.
The university said in a statement on Monday that the announcement made earlier this year to increase the compulsory fees for 2019 has been revoked.
“All parents, sponsors, and students are advised that the University of Papua New Guinea’s compulsory fees remain the same as for 2018,” the UPNG management said.
According to the statement, the fees for this year remain the same as follows:
Waigani campus, and Taurama health sciences, K2939;
Taurama BOH/BOS, MBBS, and DAS, K3029; and
Taurama nursing, K3180.
Students who have paid the previously recommended compulsory fees for 2019 of K4242 and K4896 will be credited with the resultant overpayment.
Meanwhile, postgraduate and accommodation fees remain the same as last year.
