Ase Boas returns for Hunters
Rugby League:
FORMER captain Ase Boas (pictured) returns to the SP PNG Hunters starting line-up for the round 4 Intrust Super Cup clash against Easts Tigers at Langlands Park in Brisbane this weekend.
Boas replaces William Mone at half back.
Shane Haro, Kevin Appo and Epel Kapinias will make their debuts as Hunters Nos. 74, 75 and 76 respectively with Woods Kawage as Hunter No. 77 to come off the bench.
Joe Joshua, McKenzie Yei and Junior Rop were omitted for disciplinary reasons. Jack Oii, Jerry Teme and Jordan Pat have been named on the extended bench.
The 20-man squad is: Bland Abavu, Junior Rau, Shane Nigel Haro, Adex Wera ©, Wawa Paul, Justin Yoka, Ase Boas, Moses Meninga, Charlie Simon, Enoch Maki, Kevin Appo, Epel Kapinias and Stanton Albert. The interchange bench: Woods Kawage, Baundo Aba, Dilbert Isaac, Brendon Nima, Jack Oii, Jerry Teme and Jordan Pat
Coach Marum will finalise the travelling 18-man team tomorrow.
They travel to Brisbane on Friday for the Intrust Super Cup round 4 match against Easts Tigers at Langlands Park on Saturday at 4.05pm.
The team returns on Sunday.
