Son kills mother in cold blood

A 22-year-old East Sepik man killed his mother after his mother refused to offer him money.
The incident happened in Mendi, Southern Highlands.
A police crime report stated that on April 8, the son who was believed to be under the influence of marijuana, went to his house around midday and asked his mother for money.
The mother told the son that she did not have any money.
Then without warning, the son pulled out a knife and stabbed her mother several times on the head while she was inside her room.
The 53-year-old mother Josepha Kosmali from Porembi village in Wosera-Gawi electorate of East Sepik Province, died in her bedroom from loss of blood.
The report revealed that the suspect Stevey Kosmali was arrested by Mendi police.
