Port Moresby police reported late yesterday afternoon that they have caught the first suspect involved in an armed robbery early yesterday morning (Thursday April 18).
The suspect caught is described to be in his early 20s and comes from the Madang province.
Police reported that the suspect was a member of an armed gang who got away with more than K300,000 in cash after robbing the Arnotts Biscuit Company office at the Gordons industrial area in Port Moresby.
Other suspects are still at large with police investigations continuing and they expect more suspects to be caught soon.
