Buimo Snipers and Redbacks enter second stage of Ipatas Cup

The Buimo Snipers are the first team through to the eastern end finals of the Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup (CCIC) after defeating the 13A Bulldogs at the Lae rugby league ground yesterday.
Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup chief executive officer and Kumul assistant coach Timothy Lepa when presenting the Gold Pass said the Snipers deserved the victory after topping their pool with consistent performances over the three days of
action.
The second Gold Pass play-off was the local derby between the Redbacks and Brothers from East and West Taraka suburbs of Lae.
Redbacks however managed to overcome Brothers 14-0 in a brutal affair.
The challenge was a success overall with two Gold Passes and a CEO’s Mercy Pass presented to the winners
