Late Sir Brown a loss for WNB, PNG, says Muthuvel
BY JEROME IKUAVI
THE passing of the senior statesman Sir Brown Bai is another loss for West New Britain and the country, says WNB Governor Sasindran Muthuvel.
Mr Muthuvel said Sir Brown was an experienced public servant who had served for over 30 years.
He said that Sir Brown’s passing is a setback for the waiving of land rentals discussions between the provincial government oil palm block holders.
“Sir Brown Bai worked for two years on this issue and his demise is a loss for all,” Mr Muthuvel said.
He said Sir Brown was vocal on the small cottage industries in PNG and served as the OPIC chairman.
Mr Muthuvel paid his respects to Sir Brown’s family, saying that “Sir Brown is a champion”.
