Elimbari youths told to uphold Christian values

IN a world full of challenges and complications, Christ is all we need in times of downfall and distress and remember the Lord in the days of your youth.
This was the key message shared to youths at Kureiri Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) in the Elimbari area of Chuave district, Chimbu Province.
Pastor Nimrod Koma told the youths who gathered, that Christmas is the importance of having God as their personal saviour.
“When we walk without Christ our dreams and hopes sometimes get stuck by outside influences, curses and other evil activities, but through God we will achieve what we are aiming for,” Ps Koma said.
He urged the students to tie themselves with God and walk in the path of righteousness and that will lead them to live a positive life.
The purpose of the meeting was to enlighten the youths, especially the students, who were on holiday with the word of God and encourage them to uphold Christian principles where ever they are.
The theme of the week was based on the book of Mathew; ‘’Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you”.
Ps Koma said the local church takes the Christmas holiday to carry outsuch meetings for the youths and students who are on holidays.
