Players’ movement in the Kumul Petroleum Holding National Soccer League needs to be clarified and verified.

According to FIFA, OFC or PNG Football Association rules and regulations in the NSL level, a player is allowed to move from one franchise or soccer team to another following its window transfer period is opened and a transfer is made.

However a player cannot move from one team to another when the transfer window period is not yet opened.

In this case, it is believed the KPHL NSL transfer widow period will be opened after round one and beginning of round two.

In a recent match between FC Bougainville and Southern Strikers, a player (named) initially playing for Star Mountain FC was seen playing for the Strikers in the game where both teams drew 1-1.

However FC Bougainville management under the leadership of director Thomas Taberia has launched a formal appeal to the NSL executives after Strikers fielded the player concerned was already playing with the club without waiting for the Transfer window to come by before he could switch from Star Mountain FC to Southern Strikers FC.
