Chile President Sebastian Pinera has officially announced to the world at Ela Beach That they are now the official host of the 2019 APEC Summit. Pinera held a press conference at Ela Beach in front of the APEC Haus to officially thank Papua New Guinea for a successful hosting and for handing over the hosting year to Chile. In his press conference made I their official language, Pinera said that they have learnt a lot from Papua New Guinea, the APEC Haus is a big challenge for Chile to have its own APEC Haus but they will make sure they host a successful meeting just like PNG.
