The chairman of the Manam Restoration Authority Ken Fairweather says two recent eruptions of the Manam volcano must now be classified as uninhabitable. No water, no gardens.
He told Post-Courier from Karkar that as you can see, a layer of black soot covers the surface. “… coconuts are the only source of food and water,” he said.
