Bomana CS prisoner repents on Easter

A prisoner who has served 16 years in jail so far has something special for this Easter celebration and that was to repent and acknowledge God for giving him second chance to live and sent his beloved son to die for our sins.
John Paul from Goilala district in the Central province was part of a group of faithful prisoners both male and female who took time to join the way of the cross march for peace, unity and forgiveness.
Mr Paul spoke highly of the greatness in marking this day as it was so special for a person like him and everyone else who has faulted as this was the day that marked the death of Jesus Christ who died for their sins.
He said this day makes him recall all the good and bad deeds he committed and sincerely asked the lord almighty for His forgiveness.
“This day is so meaningful to us including all the Christians and the people of this beautiful nation of Papua New Guinea joining the rest of the world to celebrate and mark the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross of Calvary,” he added.
